Elsa Ramo is an entertainment attorney, representing many corporate clients as well as individual writers, directors, musicians, agents, managers, and producers in the entertainment industry.

Elsa graduated from University of San Diego School of Law, and moved into entertainment law with Davis Dixon Kirby LLP. She now has established her presence in her law firm in Beverly Hills, in and amongst the clientele she represents. She continues to remain Of Counsel at her previous law firm.

Her specialties span the spectrum of entertainment legal needs: Corporate/Entity Representation, Contract Negotiation, Review and Drafting, Producer/Writer Representative Services, Trademark and Copyright filing and litigation, and Corporate Formations, Acquisition, and Mergers.

Erika CANCHOLA Attorney

Erika Canchola graduated cum laude from Santa Clara University and received her Juris Doctorate from Boston University Law School, where she focused her legal studies on entertainment law. During law school, she was an Editor for the Public Interest Law Journal and President of the Communication, Entertainment and Sports Law Associate. She also worked for California Lawyer for the Arts, Law Offices of Vinca Jarrett & Associates, and WGBH.

Upon graduation, Erika joined the Law Offices of Elsa Ramo full-time as an associate. She assists in Corporate Formation, Trademark and Copyright filing and litigation, Contract Review and Drafting, and Writer/Artist Representative Services, submitting materials (screenplays, music, reels, etc.) to production companies, management, agencies and/or talent.

Lisha YAKUB Creative Executive

Lisha Yakub is a recent graduate from the University of Southern California; where she double-majored in Theatre and Economics. While at USC, Lisha founded TaketheStage Theatre Company. A university endorsed and student-run Theatre Company which still remains on the campus today, producing numerous plays of professional caliber. When Lisha was not busy producing or acting in a play, she was producing television for Trojan Vision. She was an on-staff producer for the most popular college talk-show in the nation- CU@USC.

Upon graduation, Lisha was hired by Sony Pictures Television International where she worked as a consultant for their upcoming season of television shows. In July of 2007 Lisha joined The Law Offices of Elsa Ramo, where she works with the attorneys to review, collaborate, develop, submit and supervise creative materials on behalf of clients within the Firm. Lisha is actively working with clients in connection with production and distribution opportunities to bring their new material to life.  From television (unscripted/scripted) to feature films to internet properties, Lisha oversees all creative content represented by the firm.
